| Brief Detail: | LPN with emphasis on skills in caring for patients in an outpatient or inpatient environment of all ages, where company strives to make life better for adults and children with eye conditions including glaucoma, vision loss and diseases of the retina and cornea. Company also provides reconstructive surgery and plastics. The LPN works in close collaboration with the RN or a licensed physician as well as the overall Health Care Team to evaluate the patient's plan of ophthalmology care and progress toward goal attainment. This position will require you to travel to outlying clinics to provide patient care several times a month. All patient care activities are undertaken with the delegation/supervision of a licensed professional.In accordance with the unit, company standards and licensure regulations, under the adequate supervision of a registered nurse uses and documents the nursing process to plan, deliver and evaluate goal-focused, individualized, safe, age-specific care for patients. |
