| Brief Detail: | This is a challenging position involving patient care, education, outreach and administration in the complete range of Family Planning and Women's Health Services. Seeking a professional candidate with excellent patient education and communication skills and a desire to teach residents and medical students. The NP will assist our faculty in enhancing and further developing the Division of Family Planning. NYS licensed/registered NP or PA or CNM required (NYS NP/PA/CNM specialty area of certification must be consistent with the practice). Must have an NPI# and be Medicare Enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) OR be eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire (eligibility criteria for NP requires National Certification as adult of family nurse practitioner through AANP or ANCC, and Masters’ Degree). 2 years prior experience as a gyn or ob/gyn NP required. Proven leadership skills and the ability to work in a detailed and independent manner are essential. |
